Charles Sabaka, BA, MA, LPCC

Chuck Sabaka earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Malone College(University) in Sociology and Religion and a Master’s Degree from Walsh College(University) in Counseling and Human Development. Chuck began his career with the Canton City Schools and also worked eight years with the Stark County Family Court, as a Juvenile Probation Officer dealing with serious and repetitive offenders. He also conducted educational parenting groups for those with children involved with the court system.

Since 1987, Chuck has been in private practice with Dr. Richard George, until that practice recently closed with Dr. George’s retirement. Chuck’s focus of treatment includes children, adolescents, families, couples, and adults. He counsels children and adolescents in the areas of anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues in the home and behavioral and academic issues at school, as well as divorce issues. In addition, he provides help to parents in developing suitable and effective approaches for their children. He works with adults in the areas of depression, anxiety and stress, men’s issues, and relationship and marital concerns. Chuck also provides counseling from a Christian perspective for those who are seeking that approach.
