Family Counseling

Family

Many children are being raided in American families today with a much higher standard of living that we had. It is understandable that every parent want to make their children happy. But taking care of children has increasingly become defined by home much money is spent on them. A ten year old girl my feel deprived and an outcast in her peer group if she does not have a smart phone. The 12 year old boy not only has a smart phone bat an electronic notebook and the latest video game system. Both children have large flat-screen televisions in their bedrooms. Shoes and clothes are purchased at the expensive stores because all the other children at school have these clothes and it seems necessary to have them to fit in. Many parents now seem to believe that children should have anything that they can afford to buy for them.
